An American Singer-Songwriter signed to Capitol Records at age 25, Universal Records at 28, James has collaborated or toured with the likes of John Mayer, John Legend, Cat Stevens, Carly Simon, Keb Mo, and Andy Grammar, and his songs have been placed in over 15 major television shows and films worldwide. Writing songs on the topics of love, optimism, political enlightenment, simplifying, self-empowerment, wanderlust, and adventuring aimlessly through the natural world, James has left no stone unturned in his six studio albums to date. His performances are chock full of stories and fresh perspectives that seem to leave his crowds wanting more every time.
Heidi Sidelinker, a Lake Norman singer-songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, will open for Brendan. Engaging and energetic, she quiets the room and draws listeners into an intimate, transportive musical experience. Whether performing solo with her 12-string guitar, as a duo or trio, or fronting a full band, she moves fluidly across genres and settings.
With roots in a lifelong musical family and decades spent living in New York City, touring nationally and throughout Europe, Heidi’s career reflects both range and depth. Early acclaim led to festival appearances, awards, and opening slots for artists such as Blues Traveler and Iris DeMent, yet her work has always been guided by instinct, heart, and craft. Her songwriting is mature, evocative, and deeply human—shaped by years on the road, creative evolution, and motherhood.
